Our captain, Matthew Pavlich will make football history this Saturday when he runs onto Patersons Stadium to take on Geelong.

Pavlich will play his 300th AFL game, marking the first time this has been achieved by a player at a West Australian AFL club.

The 32-year-old was drafted to the club at pick number 2 in the 1999 draft and made his debut in round 5, 2000 against Melbourne.

He has captained Freo since 2007, and led the team through a preliminary final and grand final in 2013.

He's always been there for the team, now it's your turn to be #ThereForPav.

We want to see all our members at Patersons Stadium cheering our skipper on, and there is plenty happening before bounce down to celebrate the milestone.

Thanks to our match day sponsor Woodside, fans can collect a special '#ThereForPav' 300 game milestone placard from volunteers in the precinct before the game.

At the four main gates 8, 10, 19 & 26 fans can have their photo taken at the Fremantle Dockers photo stations and share them on social media using the #ThereForPav hashtag.

Once inside the stadium, you could get your hands on a giant  Matthew Pavlich replica guernsey which will be passed around the crowd in recognition of the significant milestone. 

You can also purchase a piece of Matthew Pavlich 300 AFL games merchandise from the team store and wear your passion to the game.

So head along to Patersons Stadium early and join in all the pre-game celebrations as we honour our captain, our legend, our 'Pav' in his 300th AFL game.
