I haven't watched this in years, because lets be serious, I don't really care about a bunch of random average AFL players playing this Irish game, but this has got me interested

Al Clarkson will be the coach, and only All Australians will be eligible to play, so we get to see the best of the best playing together

It will be a 1 off game in Perth in November

So far, the following players have already said they will play

Travis Boak, Patrick Dangerfield, Darren Glass, Luke Hodge, Steve Johnson, Nic Naitanui, Scott Pendlebury, Nick Riewoldt, Joel Selwood and Jobe Watson

Now I would be more than happy to see those guys representing Australia, even if its Gaelic Football

Great news!

Used to love this when some of the bigger names were playing but couldn't have cared less the last couple of years, mediocre teams being taken across for a mediocre result.

Having All-Australian reps playing will definitely increase interest in the series IMO, I for one know that I will definitely be watching if the above guys are going to be on the field!

Crap game and will never be taken seriously.
Only time it was entertaining was when Chris Johnson and Campbell Brown were running around taking players heads off

I usually watch it but didn't last year. The quality has gone down recent years because the big names haven't been going (just incase of injury), so we tend to get slaughtered at a game the Irish are use to playing.

With the AA rule, really like that edition as means you have to earn a spot in the side! Also means we can see the top players in there, and seeing some of those guys play together would be awesome. Since no more State Of Origin matches, when else would we see big names all in the one team?
