TOM JONAS has agreed to terms on a two-year contract extension that will see him remain at Port Adelaide until the end of 2016.

He's the latest player to commit to the club in the last six months after the club secured the signatures of Travis Boak, Brad Ebert, Hamish Hartlett, Jay Schulz and Jake Neade before Christmas and Justin Westhoff, Jasper Pittard, Cameron O'Shea and Ollie Wines in March.

Jonas, 23, grew up in Adelaide and attended the highly regarded football school Rostrevor College in the city's foothills.

Noz

One of the most underrated defenders in the league. Good to see him and so many other key players commit.

At this rate we might just have to trade late draft picks for spud players just so we can delist them as everyone is signing a new contract.

Toga

Great signing for the Power. As Noz says, one of the more underrated defenders in the comp.
