What's everyone's thoughts regarding the 2014 SC layout? Do you like it?
Tbh, I'm not a massive fan, I liked previous years more. The trade centre isn't great either.

I don't understand why anything had to be changed? same goes for AF (even more so)

really making me lose interest in fantasy footy

No it`s crap and its the same for all the other comps as well.
I don`t like the layouts and the way it is when doing a double trade either.
I`ve been finding the SC laggy and buggy as well

Yeh, it doesn't look as good or function as well as it has in previous years but then again, I reckon you'd have to wind the clock back to about 2008-2009 for me to like it.

Edit: Also, the app is woeful.

I would like to use some strong words also to describe but as a mod will temper my replies to just say thaye are totally flowered and if the hope to gain extra traffic forget it. I find all the fantasy sites this year extremely difficult to manoeuvre around and I usually have to recheck all to see if changes have taken due to all the extra clicking required.

I might be wrong here, but I remember the past few years has had well over 300k entries each year, and this year there isn't even 250k

Wouldn't be surprised if 50k+ people just gave up after first trying to login and use the SC site

It truly boggles my mind that a group of people redesign it so badly, but then another person/group of people actually sign off on it and proceed to roll it out

True, RD. If I recall correctly, a few years ago we had over 400,000 and the numbers have been slowly declining ever since. Obviously some of those were individuals with multiple teams designed to claim the 1k weekly prize but we don't have anywhere near that this year.

In my first year of joining SC I remember there were 380k plus players/teams but numbers have dwindled since. Think there was just on 300k last year but only 24ik this year something drastically wrong to cause 60k to drop in one year.

Last week my friend tried to trade out Matt White at Port (He loves hes uniques) to Josh Kelly. For some reason it didnt register the trade and put him on the field and took Dunstan off and gave the Captain to White.... No idea how this happened haha. He's stumped

No not a fan of the new design at all.

I have three main problems with it.

Firstly when looking at the live match screen (shows your team side by side with opponents team) there doesn't seem to be anywhere on the screen that indicates which league you are looking at.

I did a text search on that screen to see if the league name is mentioned anywhere and the only place it is mentioned is on the Psyche Out side bar where it says "This message will be posted in league <name - id of league>".

Again while on this screen, its nice that they show you the common and unique players between the two teams but the only way to see how many people total have played is to mouse over the top where it shows you other matches from the league, not a big deal but if I am on 1000 I want to know from how many, not have to add it up manually.

And then there is the trade screen, to much white and it gets a little confusing.

On the right side, above the psyche out and to the right of the where the league matches and current scores are, there is a drop down box to change from league to league, and it shows the league name there. Switch Leagues is what it says
