56th in the weekly this round has got back to like 2k overall after a mediocre start. Had some pretty good advice on the forums last week so hopefully you guys can help me push the top 1000.

On my radar atm...

Lloyd? havent actually seen either of the tigers games but obviously can score well and banking the cash might be handy for upgrades during the bye rounds. His bye is turning me off a bit, plus if he has a poor game they may rest him which I cant afford in overall to be relying on impy. Can he average over 70 for his next 4 games? I'd be happy with that.

N Roo? Clearly the best forward at the moment plus has last bye round. Looked awesome again on the weekend. Is an injury chance but im not too worried about that. I dont love getting in guys who are smashing it because I dont think it helps too much with overall (Getting in Birchall last year at his peak was a bit of a disaster for me). Still could be the best option, I'd have about 100k left if I did this trade.

Dahlhaus? This is the trade I'm probably leaning towards at the moment. I started with him but traded him out when he got injured, which was a mistake but what can you do. Liked his first 3 games, he's only low 400k and he's only in about 2% of teams last I checked. Estimate he'll average about 95 for the rest of the season but maybe he can go higher. Main issue is theres a lot of other blokes scoring well in the dogs mids atm, boyd griffen mcrae, theres not enough points for everyone to ton up consistently, especially if they are loosing.

Robbie Gray?  Similar situation to dahlhaus for price, form, selection%, bye round. Maybe has more scoring potential, but I think he's also more likely to go off the rails, hasn't averaged over 91 in 7 years, although some were injury years, and port weren't a great side for most of them. Looking at his performances for the year im warming to picking him but is he likely to throw in a 28 out of nowhere?

Rioli? Played rubbish yesterday, still scored 74, priced not much higher than the last two, also POD because of RD1 suspended.

Anyone else I should look at?

Gunston? Pavlich? Parker? Westhoff? Harvey? Elliot? Wright? Breust? Chapman?

Keeper27

Intersting, they both looked pretty good on the weekend and last bye round. Thanks for the input

Out of the Premos I agree with Keeper with Parker or Pav.

But I think you should jump on LLoyd if it doesn't screw your bye structure up too much

Thanks mate. Can anyone give me a rundown of lloyds game on thursday night? what was the reason for his low sc vs dt? how much t.o.g did he miss from concussion?

Didn't miss too much gametime from it but was scoring very well up until the hit so it clearly affected the rest of his game

ClarksonsArmy

I would love Lloyd to miss this week so it allows us other rookies this weeks.

IMO your not far off the lead so you need uniques.... nRoo fits this bill, as does pav.

Port play some tough games next few weeks so be careful

Belegur

Yeah thanks guys. Very helpfull

Yep, borderline concussion knocked the wind out of his sails, was on 42 at halftime and was headed for another great score. The thing I like about Lloyd is he has a very well rounded game, he tackles, he is an elite mark for his size and he has some nice range on his kicking. Given that he's a mature-ager I doubt he'll succumb to mid season fade outs like the u/18 kids, I hope and expect he'll be part of the furniture for the rest of the season. The King is dead in my eyes.

Richmond have Hawks and geelong in the next two rounds, how do you think his game will match up with those opponents?

Life will be tougher but he did score 131 against Collingwood, so I doubt he will be intimidated by the better opposition. I think he'll score in the 70-80 range.

Jroo

I'd look to bring in Parker/Gray and Lloyd, if you can.

My forwards as it stands is

Danger Martin Zorko Franklin Fasolo (Caddy) Impey Rohan

Port play last this week so loop-holing Impey again wont be an option
