Backs: Mitchell, Hanley, Enright, Grimes, MacDonald, Webster (Langdon, Langford)
Mids: Ablett, Stevie J, Beams, Liberatore, Cotchin, Polec, Dunstan, Tyson (Ellis, Aish)
Rucks: Sandilans, Jacobs (Derickx, Currie)
Fwds: Dangerfield, Pavlich, Mitchell, Higgins, Caddy, Taylor (Ambrose, Impey)

$33,800 in the bank. 27 trades left.

Bolded are my issues. Hanley out for 2-4 is my obvious concern, Caddy would probably be next in line. Webster im happy enough to give a couple more weeks and Mitchell ill probably just have to back for the season.

Thoughts? Thinking the obvious trade is Hanley > Swallow, and im sure people will put up an argument for Caddy > Fasolo but im not 100% sold on this yet, caddy could easily pump out 100 this week... And trades are as valuable as ever!

would trade Hanley if you got Jaensch you could trade Ambrose to Fasolo

Bully

Hanley to McVeigh or Swallow, Caddy to Fasolo. As for Ambrose, keep him for now, you can always trade him for Lloyd next week.

I've mentioned it a few times with regards to Jaensch but I don't see him as a top 6 backman. He's Henderson's replacement and Ricky was an 85avg player over the course of a season. Onballers first and foremost, grab your Swallows, McVeighs, Simpsons and Bartels. Next in line should be an Enright or a Hibberd but you appear to have a trusty D6 already. Go for the best and if Jaensch continues his form over the next 6 weeks, look at him then.

thanks for your input guys. Dont want to trade Ambrose yet ill stay patient and wait for him to return and make me money, atleast he isnt losing me money like Caddy is...

I think Swallow is my best option, i dont feel like im chasing points by bringing him in i genuinely think we're getting a mid/fwd in a defenders position.

Just unsure whether or not to go Caddy to Fasolo or hold for now. Jaensch hasnt really entered my radar, not proven enough for my liking.

Another option would be to fix the forwards....Caddy and T Mitchell out grab Dusty who will be one of the top forwards...and get Fasolo/ Lloyd...play rookie backs...you can cover Hanley and Webster has a BE of 46 so might make you some more cash and possibly turn the corner this week.

The double forward trade is definitely an option ive been considering... HOWEVER, would it be rediculous for me not to trade, and hope that both titch and caddy can pull their fingers out? I have Langdon/Langford to cover Hanley... Or have i lost the plot?

T Dog

Yep...plot almost gone...What sort of team are you after?...Caddy bleeding away his value, Hanley out for ? weeks, Mitchell not breaking out. Keep you favorite..junk the other 2 this week...and I assume that Caddy will be your issue next week..but worth a bit less but worse not enough points for his price.. :-\

Okay... good point, i just needed confirmation.

So my dilemma is Hanley is definitely in my final team. But is it worth holding him for what could potentially be 3-4 weeks? When i could bring in Swallow and pick him up later.

I definitely want to give Mitchell at LEAST another week, so i guess its Hanley and Caddy that have to go...

It would appear that the overall is not within each.

If you are a good chance of winning your most important league match up as is, then hold.

If you have little chance in league even if you do a double trade, then hold.

If you really want a win and the trades are a good chance of getting you over the line then go for it.

I think Caddy is not gong to lose a lot more so no rush.

Hanley really should be held given the news out of Brisbane - his is not being talked about as a LTI.

Swallow would be a good get. I can't see how you can afford him though without culling a decent player.

You'd need $580000 to get Swallow and say Lloyd.

Webster and Mitchell?

I think I would sit.

More than likely Caddy and Webster will do OK and you'll get more of a look at Mitchell.
