''GREATER Western Sydney ruckman Shane Mumford will miss up to two matches after undergoing knee surgery on Saturday.''

Mumford was a late withdrawal from the Giants clash with the Western Bulldogs at StarTrack Oval, with the club citing general soreness for his absence.

Thinking Mumford to Hampson
The Swans have used this excuse for Mummy before, wonder what he did to aggravate it

Actually the article is true and Mummy did have surgery according to Leon Cameron....

Exactly why I went with 3 number 1 rucks at there clubs.
Mummy & Sandi. ( Hickey & derricks )

Had hickey sitting as bench cover all year for a late out and making me cash then the one week I needed him he pulls out also. FFS I ended up with derricks score.

Hoping Hickey is back this week then I will leave my rucks alone.

Shane Mumford has a bit of the Andy Flintoffs about him and has injuried himself outside of the sporting arena before

You probably woulda had McEvoy on that list as well though at the start of the season, it's a bit of a lucky draw with any players. Can't guarantee a full season.

4 rookie rucks next year?

Haha that was funny. Probably healthier for the mind instead of trying to get two Prem Ruckmen on the ground, even when you upgrade one the bloke you buy in becomes a late out for 0 and YES AND people then need to move him on as he's going to miss weeks. Could of well been the worst weekend on record for some coaches in fantasy, feel for them all, this game can break your heart.
