Double trade...get mummy/off load caddy?

Might be time to swallow some pride.
Caddy isn't cutting the mustard. Low average and his value could be used better elsewhere...ie - Lobbe to Mummy.
Lobbe was likely to start shakily given his early draw but my team as a whole isn't setting the world on fire and feel this is the best play available to me. Webster is on the bubble with a BE of 7 and would be the next player to upgrade so it's Lobbe out or hold and save trades.
I'm reluctant to do it as I was singing Lobbe's praises pre season but holding and hoping I was right might be the dumb move.
If I off load Caddy it would be to Fasolo.

the Mummy train has left the station imo no point getting on now

i don't see the point in Caddy to Fasolo either

Hard to say without seeing your whole team.

On instinct I'd say not to the Caddy trade, but yes to the Mummy...

+1 Caddy is going fine, 81, 71, 53 - he had a disappointing week last week but what were you thinking he would get as an average? I was hoping he would post slightly higher scores and increase his value a little but he's holding his value at least. Should go up a tiny bit this week. No point in offloading him to Fasolo this week, I want to see that Fasolo holds his spot first so will bring him in next week on the bubble.

Lobbe to Mummy would be good if you can do it in one trade but it has to be this week... As KB said the train has left the station but I don't think it's too late to jump on board yet.

Definitely NOT to late to catch the Mummy train, hasn't left the station yet.

Looks fit and in ripping shape. Nic Nat to mummy tempting me but I'm resisting... But if I was you I'd grab him if you can work it

Gone up $70k, I'd say that's left the station haha. I think he's currently priced at about a 105-110 average so it's not too late to get on the train but I don't think you will see any/much net gain. He'll go up again thanks to a massive opening 3 rounds but I would expect 110 as an average if he stays on the park. He won't keep up 150. Will go up high, will come back down, don't scramble to get on him unless you have a player who should be traded out and can bring in Mummy in 1 trade only. Double trading to bring him in now is a waste imo...

Honestly I think a downgrade to Hampson is probably your best bet but depends on your bench. Do you have Currie and/or Derrickx who seem to be the most likely to be playing bench cover? Don't know that I completely trust Hampson but he's on the bubble at least and has 2 good scores to his name so far. You don't really have an option of a straight swap to a keeper unless you're willing to ride the NicNat rollercoaster, which I wouldn't be confident in but is probably your best shot at making 1 trade to a ruck who might be a keeper. Otherwise you're going to be making 2 trades, be it to Hampson now and an upgrade later or a downgrade now and Leuey to [take your pick here]. I think the downgrade to Hampson now is best as it affords you some time to assess the field and pick up keepers later on. Could also jump on Hickey still I guess, missed a price rise but he'll still go up.

The question is even if he does dip in price again, is he worth getting on? He has to turn it around before you pick him up!!

He's always been consistent, and the injury suffered in round 1 might be giving him some niggles... but i'd say he'll turn it around...  I also said wait and see too...   so we can see how he looks this weekend and re-asses...

Trouble with the type of injury he had it can stick around Goldy but I'm going to stay away now because of that injury

this might be a decent option. has to show signs he's back in top form first before jumping on.

That will come back down though, unless you really think he will be a 150 average for the season. As I said above he's currently priced around 105-110, wouldn't expect any more than that as a realistic average so effectively he's priced correctly right now.

I thought about Pyke but I don't think you can count on him yet. Again a risky pick for a straight swap to keeper, but I don't think Pyke will be a 100 average player this year. At his price if he doesn't lift to 100+ as an average then it's a wasted trade, with the likes of Hampson/Hickey they probably won't be keepers but you'll make some coin off them and can bank a bit more now.
