who would you select out of them as your captain, please vote.

you need a go-to captain. one that you can always rely on. I'd say none of those will consistently score a ton except maybe riewoldt. so your best bet there is riewoldt. however

downgrade cooney to ball
i think that gives you enough money to go selwood to bartel

hmm, i've contemplated that. i think selwood should perform very consistently this year, what's the reasoning behind selwood not being fit as a captain. I'd predict him to get 100 each week, and if ablett gets injured, bartel will take the #1 tag... i'm not saying its a poor idea... just trying to weigh up the pro's and cons...

like Selwood as Captain = 100-105 x 2 + Cooney (maybe 90-95) = 290-305
Bartel as Captain = 105-115 x 2 + Ball (?) = ??

what do you reckon ball will average? those averages are very rough btw hahah

Of those, for round 1, Selwood. Check the fixture - Saints have Swans round 1 --> chance that Roo scores low against a very miserly Swans.

Don't try to convince yourself that Selwood will crack the ton consistently this year; he may well do that, but go with a proven player for captaincy reasons, not a hunch.

Every week just pick the player depending on who they play that week. You have a good selection of players from dif teams so make your seletion based on that...

out of them can't go past mitchell or selwood as the captains. as blueboys said, will depend on who they play each week.

Bartel, Mitchell, Cooney, Ball, Trengove and Martin.

Will chuck bartel in as captain, unless you guys reckon swapping ball and cooney for swan and scully would be a better bet?

nah bartel is a great captain for dt. cooney and ball should both improve so shouldn't worry about them.
