Fremantle had its first training session of the week ahead of Sunday's match against Essendon at Patersons Stadium.

As expected, there was no sign of Michael Walters, while Chris Mayne, who is listed as a test this week, was also absent.

Garrick Ibbotson (shoulder) took part in an early kick-to-kick warm up, but broke away when the main drills began.

Michael Johnson, David Mundy, Hayden Ballantyne, Danyle Pearce and Cam Sutcliffe also did not participate in the main drills. The group ran laps of Fremantle Oval, bar Pearce, who went into the gym to work on the bike.

A host of possible inclusions for Sunday's game trained, including Colin Sylvia, Clancee Pearce, Zac Clarke and Alex Silvagni.

Maybe Ibbo's shoulder isn't as bad as first thought. It did pop out fairly easily though

Ibbo only training the first part is them just trying to keep his fitness base up.  Not training in the main drills is definitely making sure they don't do any further damage to the shoulder.
