Im just wondering how I can improve my team? I am currently ranked 5020 after a shocker round 2 but had a very solid round 1 and 3.

Team is....

Defence
McVeigh, Hibbard, Simpson, Swallow, Sucking, Langford (Georgiou, Laidler)

Midfield
Ablett, Joel Selwood, Watson, Cotchin, Beams, Nathan Jones, Polec, Langdon (Ellis, Cunningham)

Ruck
Jacobs, Sandilands (Dericks, Currie)

Forward
Martin, Chapman, Franklin, Pavlich, Wright, Caddy (Rohan, Ambrose)

I have $68,418 in the bank and would love everyone's advice of how to improve my team and ranking.

Chappy and Pav/Wright/Caddy to Merrett and Hunter or something?

Some trade ideas.... can't do all of them, and some are mutually exclusive coz of cash.... but should get you thinking.

Jacobs to Mumford is the one I like most, but leaves you with around $0.

Caddy to Merrett is the one I like second most.

-Jones, Move Caddy to Midfield (get rid of him next week) +Nick Roo.

Nathan Jones to Matt Crouch (/Buckley)?

If you did Jacobs to Mumford... Would need to double check, but think you could do -Cunningham +Matty Crouch(Or Buckley) as well.

Surely Jacobs to Mumford would be your priority trade this week, maybe find some cash somewhere else. Maybe bring in Matt Crouch for one of your rookies? Though I suspect he will get the vest a lot... :-\

Chapman may be out this week and Ambrose isn't playing so to avoid fielding Rohan Chappy to Parker
And Jacobs out to Mumford maybe

I was going to do that trade but I feel Jacobs will kill it for the next few weeks up to the bye with the really easy draw and the fact crows will win most of those games. I will trade him out at his bye once he reaches his peak price for the number one ruckman at the time....

Can anyone else help me with any other trades? I don't like having 3 rookies on the field and would like to turn them into premiums ASAP?

I dont like the idea of fielding langford.
Personally, I would do Langford to K. Kolod and Chappy to Merrett (only because chappy will be out this week and fielding rohan isn't ideal).

Big Sauce has had 2 ton's and a 69 from memory. Apart from Sandy and Mummy, there isn't any other 'premo' rucks who are doing better, so he shouldn't be a priority trade out. He's scoring similar to Cox, so he's not doing bad enough to warrant a trade out.
