Another AFL retirement, with  @Brisbane_FC midfielder Brent Moloney calling time after 166 games over 12 years.

Strange retirement and a strange career. Was the best clearance specialist at one point but obviously he had a very poor mentality and attitude to the game

Like most players as they get older recovery time from injury gets longer and longer.  Moloney has had a couple of injury set backs this year and with the latest achilles may have been the catalyst to retire.

Was a great clearance specialist last year and was great to see he was still adving youngsters despite being relegated to the 2's.
