Another SC Idea

Ok so been getting annoyed as many of us have in the SC world with everyman and his dog jumping onto rookies and breakout players that we have been putting hours worth of research into selecting out team around, before their price rise. Sure it means it costs them early trades they will need come finals time but it still annoys me people can pick these guys up at the same price you pay for them.

I definitely don't profess to always select all the right rookies or breakouts every year and see correctional trades sometimes need to be done but was kind of thinking about it today and was wondering what would happen if trades for the first 3 rounds were restricted only to injured, suspended and possibly omitted players?

This would only allow everyone to bring in Rookies and Breakouts they didn't start with after a price rise (as long as they have played all first 3 rounds)

Haven't thought of all the ins and outs of this idea but thought I would float the idea out there?

Perhaps price changes after 1-2 rounds instead of 3 might be a better idea for the outcome your after?

Agreed with RD here, this would be way easier to administer.

I get what you're saying though mate, it sucks how you pick a decent rookie/pod at the start and everyone else jumps on.

You guys have got it... that's the kind of direction i'm heading... Guess I'm just annoyed this week my team got slaughtered while I hear about people who had no carnage and can afford to bring in rookies that are gunning it.

Do not woory magpie even hardened SC coaches can get crucified by a bad round.  I only scored 1917 last week and reckon I need 5 trades this week but can only use 2.
