So the stars did cost us as we know the crows led five minutes into the final quarter, well

Looks like the physical contest did take its toll on the young group and Paddy, Thommo and Sloaney could do little to help

As good as they were, Griggy, Kerridge, Lyons, Wright, Brown, Johnston, Sloane and Crouch were just not as hardened as the Cats and the Dangerman needs to pull his finger out and his head in

As much as we beat the Cats last year with one of the youngest sides I think Adelaide has put on a field, no doubt Douglas, VB, Lynch, Hendo and Reilly were seriously missed as the old Cats ran away with it

R u 4 real?
Good as they were? Sloane played his dumbest game yet. His effort and gut run were without question, but seriously he wasted the ball by bombing forward Greg Anderson style without thought on too many occasions for Sando. If Sloane and co. were better drilled in setting blocks for Danger (ala Ablett's days at Geelong) then Paddy would have better opportunity. The Crows rested and expected for Danger to do too much, Petrenko was a dangerous non- inclusion. His tenacity would have been useful in taking down Cam Guthrie and his fwd pressure tag on Paddy.

Geelong has done worse to better teams. Expecting Adelaide to come out firing next week. The Adelaide Oval era is going to start with a bang, even if the Stones aren't around.
