Interesting that Neale comes out. Thought it may have been someone like Sheridan but I'm sure Sheridan will have a role to play

valkorum

I was surprised to see Neale come out as well.  I thought Sheridan or Sutcliffe would come out.

Near there best 22 id say.
Neale a bit stiff however

Ricochet

Still Ibbo and Clarke to come back in. And Sylvia eventually

Dont forget Clancee, Gumbleton and Keplar.

Ricochet

Don't worry I didn't forget them. I just honestly don't see where they fit in. Hannath comes out for Clarke. Sutcliffe for Ibbo, pushing DPearce to a wing. Sheridan for Sylvia. That only really leaves Suban for CPearce or one of Gumbleton/Keplar

valkorum

I didnt say it would be easy getting them in the side but they have proven to be best 22 players for Freo - thats why RTB gets paid the big bugs.  He has to find a way to make the best 25/26 fit in to the best 22

I wouldn't consider Gumbleton for some time just yet.I thought I read where his injury will keep him out for 12 weeks. Then he has to do playing time with Peel.I am not holding my breath waiting for him.
I am liking Sheridan and Sutcliffe as they are playing now and I am sure that those others mentioned will have to earn their stripes back through Peel.
I was not impressed by Clancees game last week,He has to improve and I am sure he will. But he will be no walk up start when he is ready to challenge.
I am not at all surprised by Suban walking straight back in.His pre_season form was good,I guess Neale being the sub against Collingwood  made him the logical choice to make way for Subes.
though he didn't get a lot of the ball against Collingwood,I would have been surprised if Hannath had been dropped for Clarke. We have to give him game time and I am sure that Lyon sees this game as a chance to get another game into him.Maybe Lyon is not impressed by the injury that Clarke sustained,or the manner in which it happened and is letting Zac know.
I am absolutely ecstatic that those who were regulars last season have to fight to get a berth this season, makes places in the side earned not given.
