Keep Murphy's 121 as vc loop, or gamble that Ablett will go bigger? Thoughts?


Another one, I've got Clurey. And only got $7,500 in the bank. Go Georgiou this week? Pull the trade trigger ?

I'd back in Ablett, but it is always tough to turn down a quality score like that.

And depending if you need an on field scorer in defence, otherwise pull the trigger next week. Access the options then, but I think Georgiou will be a great cash cow.

Yeah, he is my D8, so can wait till next week I guess. Rest of the team is solid. Going for league win only, so may gamble on Murphy's score for the hell of it.

I had the VC on marc as well but with Pendles scoring well against Freo there's a good chance that GAJ can score well. Ideally we would have contacts at CD and be able to ask them who they have as captain this week for a sure thing.

I'd still go Ablett C, you buy him with the expectation that he will average around 130 so I personally wouldn't take a score lower than that

 congrats on the decent vice captain pick 121 is good to build your week around havin said that I'm going with ablett ill back the little Master in early in the season to run over Crowley

121 just isn't enough to bank

It will only backfire if Ablett goes below 100, and I would back him in. If he does get mauled and scores a 105-115 then you've only lost a couple of points, but he has to be odds on favourite to go better

I believe his last 3 scores vs Freo are: 137, 185 157

I would still back GAJ in though mate. I can't see him going 150+, but more like 130-140.

I would say 75% chance he will score better than 120

Normally would back Gaz in but think the Suns might get a reality check over there against a very good Freo side may just affect Gaz's score a bit

121 is what I consider Toss of the coin territory.  Between 120 and 130 is usually a go with gut feeling as to whether your preferred Captain will exceed or equal this score.

My generall rules for VC are:
Greater than 130 take
115 - 130 Review preferred Captains opponents and if you consider he would score 110 + leave the C as you may only use a few points.
Below 115 Leave C on preferred Captain

Since you're only going for a League Win, bank the points or leave it on Ablett... either way it a win...!!
