Anyone Considering J Merret. He Tonned up and only 266k. Was that one out of the box against the north witches hats or is it his breakout year. Who has Essadadon coming back that might steal his points? Melksham, Winderlich.

I'm thinking of him to solve my Rohan problem but it might be safer to go a Pav/Zorko if it was only a once off.

I like the other Merrett, cheap as chips and has elite disposal. The big question will be gametime, but judging from his quarter and a bit he deserves to stay.

Will be tough for our selection committee in coming weeks once Melksham's suspension ends and Winderlich and Dempsey are fit. All 3 debutants played well enough to keep their spots. Don't think Z Merrett should be sub either. Looked very promising.

I think if you ran a poll with the same options but entitled

Re: Worst forward for F6

You'd get the same result!  :D

I hear Bock is only 2-3 weeks away, for the love of god please hurry up!

I think most sides are in trouble with F6 position.
I have Rohan there at the moment and Taylor and JKH on the pine.
I have confidence in Rohan and Taylor as cash cows, both will play most games, however after watching JKH last night, I don't think he is ready for AFL yet, I think he will be that player you will have on the pine all year hovering around the $160k mark
I left $200k in my kitty for corrective trades if required and am thinking on biting the bullet here and offloading JKH to a decent mid pricer.
Can anyone disagree with my opinion on JKH? Or you all have the same feeling?

agree,  jkh looks to light to handle it.   I am not convinced rohan is going to do much either really.    need more forwad rookies to get gametime.

Southstorm

You can't lose faith in Rohan because he got 50 in one week. Period. For value for money, I'd still say he's the best forward available for F6.

kilbluff1985

yeah the conditions in Rohan's game were crap for a forward and Sydney were crap he deserves another week

B Kennedy would be a decent F6 is Buckley would give him a fair run at it
