I have nic nat but really starting to doubt whether he will actually play or not. Which leaves me with three options trade in Ryder, Mcevoy or Leuenberger & ditch nic nat. Not quite sure who offers more value out of the three any advice would be gem

Im not looking at Nic Nat hence this reason.
Decision was between Leunberger & Big Boy. I have big boy as think will score well at the hawks

MrSpector

Im leaning towards either Mcevoy or Ryder! Anyone know when the finals teams are announced for sunday game? is it tonight?

E-Lemon_ator

Yea pretty sure the squads have to be cut back to 22 players on friday noght (for Sunday games). Doesnt mean there wont be any late changes tho!

Leuenberger is the safest option for me. Coming back from injury last year and he didn't have a full pre season, still averaged 97, averaged 102 the year before.

Ryder very inconsistent and I am unsure how McEvoy will go with his new role. I rate Leuenberger as a player ahead of both of them anyway.

The Trent West factor scares me...as people have stated & (being a Geelong man myself) i don't rate west around the ground at all or much as a ruck..i don't know much about the Lions but think Luey provides a better forward target..Also watched Luey's latest interview where he said he is happy for the chop out but will take some time to adjust resting forward more...if West doesn't get played much i reckon he is a good pick...otherwise i am going McEvoy

Yeah who knows what Ryder will do... but at 460k is tempting...Look at Jacobs last night !

Ryder. He hates sharing ruck duty. Every time its been up to him to carry the ruck hes smashed it. With no bellchambers he is going to have a field day.

What happens when Belly comes back? scoring will plumit down to a 90 odd average. Meaning he's not a keeper. Why pay 486k for that?

If you believe he can average 100+ with Belly in the side then go for it, but i just dont see that happening.

MLS

Ryder has averaged over 90 once in his career. Belly will be back so you need to take that into account that Ryder won't be sole rucking all season.

Leuy looks the most reliable pick, however West has been selected for R1, so expect sharing of the ruck.

As for McEvoy, IMO, after having him all last year, he is a flowering spud. Having said that i can see why people might look at him with some upside.

Can't pick Ryder. Once Belly comes back he will eat into Paddy's scores- burn a trade on a 486k ruck? Not worth the risk

McEvoy has the ability to score big, but also has the ability to flower it up. And did so consistently last year

Have a look in the player profiles on FF for Leuey for his SC scores from last season. Consistently good. Only 3 scores below 80 and 2 were 79.

Leuey by a mile IMO.

Make the call...who wins the ruck battle today.....McEvoy or Leuy???

Rucks are notoriously inconsistent.   therefore ryder offers good chance for low avg of 90 and upside potential as he loves being single ruck,  then trade up to form ruckman in 5/6 weeks time    will be minimal cash to do this and if nn has any warm up issues over the first 3/4 weeks then wont cost anything to tu to him.

berger should score more, but for the points difference the extra cash would be better used upgrading elsewhere
