I'm after some advice from you guys in regards to Mitchie vs Aish's JS and potential to average more?!

My mids are similar set up to most-
Ablett, Watson, Rocky, Beams, Tyson, Mitchie, Ellis, Polec (Dunstan, Crouch)
Is there any benefit of switching Mitchie to Aish?
(I'm also looking at trading LMac with Crouch and bringing in Langford to Def)

Michie the safer option mate. Few years older. Probably bout ten kilos heavier aswell.

With the injury to Claye Beams Aish's JS is secure unless he flunks badly which I do not see given his performance in the NAB pre-season and especially the trial game against Swans.

Leppa has indicated he wants to give him as much game time as possible as well.

However in saying that either would be a sound pick as more than likely you will be upgrading both at bye time.  Both have the Round 10 bye as well which is beneficial. Michie is $15k cheaper so if that is a factor then take him.  Can see both getting to $400/450k if form is maintained,

Ringo, Tyson over Aish though? That's my issue..

Good question Tiges I have both in my team. So if you want one really a toss of the coin as I see both averaging about the same.  Aish will be an outside player in the mids and should score well not sure what Michies actual role is as I did not see a dees preseason game.

So you would expect a similar output for both 'Tyson' & Aish then..??

Hold onto Mitchie & swap Tyson?

If that's the case that extra $30k could also come in handy!

I would have Michie over Aish... I have virtually identical mids to you (Pendles instead of Watson, Aish instead of Crouch). I put Aish in my mids because I want an entire set of players, but he would be the first to go out of this lot. Sheed also worth considering but both Sheed and Aish I think have dodgy JS - Aish safer because as Ringo says I think he has a spot until he loses it, I can't see him just being rotated out. But 1 bad game could spell trouble.

I have concerns about having tyson and Michie in the same team.  If Melb get smashed - always a possibility, then you can expect ordinary scores from them both.

For this reason I would swap one out for a player like Aish - who is has pretty good JS (from what I've read).  I expect that Aish will average 70ish.  I'm told that is similar to the expectations of the other 2.

Michie due to body size and scoring potential. Even when melbourne lose he should still score a decent amount for a rookie as he is a clearance player and will always be around the ball
