Different d4 option to consider? Guthrie?

Hey all.
Like most I'm doing my head in about whether or not I should keep suckling at d4, or downgrade to Webster, pocket the cash and use elsewhere.
Another option I'm considering is swapping suckling for the 5k more Guthrie? What's everyone's thoughts on this? Is he going to be the new Enright off half back? Could be quite a unique pick and because I decided to go hurn at d3 over Enright could this work out?

I had a look into him too a few weeks back

His scoring last year was shower, but he could break out in that role which he seems to have cemented now

Could be a nice POD - a risk none the less - but wouldn't be the worst choice

Worst case scenario is he spuds up in first 2 weeks then you use a correction trade on him

Gotta take the occasional risk to get the biscuit!

Way better options in defence who are cheaper. Mcdonald, martin, webster, langford, georgiou. Will average similar to these guys so why not save the money. At most he will make you 100k. The others will make you 200k +

Yeah I expect him to play most games but I'm unsure of how well he can score.Cats rate him highly so he can play..

Had a good preseason playing in the guts.
Once the real stuff kicks off I think he will resume his normal role off halfback.

If he was on ball he could seriously average 90.
Too risky mate but not the worst idea.

He is a risk, and I'm thinking Webster to take this position now. This obviously gives me a lot of extra cash to play with, so if I do this should I keep Hurn as d3 giving me about 100k, or upgrade to Enright, Hanley, Hibberd, Thompson. I can even just afford Bartel. Is anyone backing Jimmy this year? My d2 is Simpson so his locked in already.

If you can't fit a premo at D4 the best option IMO is Suckling. He arguably has a higher ceiling than Guthrie and Webster.
