HAWTHORN LIST NEWS:

Derick Wanganeen has been elelvated to the clubs senior list to take the place of Brendan Whitecross who has been placed on the long term injury list due to rupturing his ACL in last years preliminary final.

Do International rookies need to he elevated to be played? If so, I can't believe we aren't going into round 1 with Heatherley in the side.

100k cheaper than Michie & Tyson. Been scoring well in the preseason but JS will be the issue in a strong team.

Not for me yet will keep an eye on him but.

International scholarship holders aren't officially a part of the list until they are taken through the draft. At that point they are either placed on the main list or rookie list and standard rules apply.

Could be an alright M10 because if XEllis can crack 75-85 this week i'l be fielding him and Polec, with Langdon as bench cover at M9, don't see the point of paying 80k more for a Michie or Dunstan type when theres a strong chance they score less than my bench

+1 i've been sitting with Honeychurch not wanting to pay the extra cash with the likes of Ellis at M9 for me

I watched him in the nab and his disposal was first class and hes quick and is a 1 touch player.

If he was 10kg heavier ud lock him but i rate him very highly

I hope he gets named round 1 and people jump on. Because he will be straight back out round 2 when Cyril is back, who he would be filling for.
