Is Laidler worth a corrective trade?

I'm a really big fan of corrective trades, particularly since our trade allowance got upped to 30 per year.

Jeremy Laidler is one guy I feel is now a lock down back with the news of Alex Johnson re-injuring his knee (unfortunately I was away last weekend and missed this).

Would it be worth switching Tyson to Michie/Aish to leave some money in the bank to go Clurey > Laidler next week?

I understand it is a little early to do a corrective trade, but I would prefer to do this after round 1, and leave myself 2 trades for the following week just in case.

There's also a chance Clurey may not keep his spot anyway, with O'Shea, Carlile and perhaps Colquhoun to all return to Port's back 6.

See what you defensive rookies do next week and if laidler has another good game make the corrective trade before round 3.

Spite

Just remember that Laidler was on 13 points at halftime. If he doesn't have a big second half next week, you could be looked at a sub 50 point game

The cash stockpile is crucial here - unless you offload say McDonald or Suckling or Martin or someone worth as much.

Clurey is obviously a weak link so make sure you have enough to upgrade him.

Bully

I have every intention of bringing him in for round 3, in the meantime I'll collect the 111 from Langdon. He's got great JS and he's a round 10 bye player, nobody represents the same value as Laidler at this stage.
