Bit concerned that option 1 has too many mid pricers.

But then I'm really not confident on any premium forwards. Even Roughy is a risk with Buddy gone and he is a KPP.

Team 2 mate.  I would reconsider Daisy & Hale. I would downgrade 1 of them to a rookie and use the $$ to upgrade the other.
I also think your def is lacking 1 player.  Unsure having all of Suckling, Laidler & mcdonald on the ground
