Has anyone got any news when Honeychurch might debut and is he worth looking at?

Bully

He's pretty light at this stage and will be competing with a number of others for the small forward role. I suspect he'll debut this year but round 1 seems unlikely.

+1

There are lots in front of him at this stage

Grufflez

I want him to play mid year and make the perfect DPP downgrade target, don't need him atm  :D

Herald sun reported yesterday that he is likely to debut round 1 but its the herald sun so take it with a grain of salt.

Yeah I did scan through that article, it also stated that he will be fighting for a position with a couple of players including Dahlhaus.

Talk about having an eachway bet ::)

Herald Sun reporters seem to have no clue at times.

All HS care about is advertising SC, with every second article in the sport section having scores and prices in them, along with the 'bargain buys' and whatnot. But I'll save my rant and get back on topic:

Don't see Honeychurch getting regular games, more like the odd run here and there when injuries occur, and to get some games into their younger kids and whatnot. Whilst he could keep his spot if he performed well enough, not sure if he has the body to string enough games together to be SC relevant unfortunately. However, I'm no Bulldogs expert, just my view FWIW.

Dogs Forwards

Crameri, Gia, Jones, Campbell, Dahlhaus, Dickson, Grant, Tutt, Stringer, Hunter, Murphy (as Higgins playing backline) and Tom Williams

just cant see how he gets into the team at this stage.

Well considering the way they are talking about him, I would expect him to be infront of Dickson and Tutt with Murphy still playing in the backline (you can have both higgins and murphy back there) with Williams more of a utility than a deadset forward.

That leaves a forward line of;

Grant, Jones, Stringer
Crameri, Campbell/Williams, Hunter

With dahlhaus still in there and up the wings and Gia as the super sub. Honeychurch likely to be the next in line but just to miss out but he's close.
