At first it seemed his was vying for an out and out midfield role, that he will surely lose his place in weeks to come. Now it looks as if he will become the Hawks tagger. Do the folk out there believe this gives him great job security? Or will he be continually battling. Pretty much up against Clay Cameron for my side. Cheers!

kinda feel 2 ways about this.
if he tags then he wont score much, but @ rookie priced he'll still make money.
then again i dont really see many DEF rookie options, Clurey wont  get too many games, Langdon?? how many games will he get, Georgiou should be elevated soon *hopefully, Martin/Laidler in the same boat will they play enough games to earn you quick coin??

question is, do you take a risk on Langford and take the small tagging scores (still make money) or risk it with another DEF rookie who MIGHT score more but you dunno how many games they'll string together.

Yeah it's tough, limited games isn't such an issue if they can play early on - eg if you get Langdon and he plays 6 games before the bye then he still gets 3 price rises, which may be bigger than Langford's. Still I think Langford has some scoring potential and if named I will start him, if he doesn't explode then he can just be a slow burner while I upgrade others ahead of him...

likelihood of games early is the key isnt it ... between langford langdon litherland clurey georgiou ...

how do we rank them in terms of most likely to get 6 games early. very tough

Honestly I think Cameron is pretty high up on that list!

Cheers guys. Yeh ^^ Cameron is in my side atm. Will Thompson coming back push him out? Or will we see him play 15+ games regardless.

:o Clay has had an awful preseason.  Big question as to whether he'll play round 1 let alone if he can get more than 2 games consecutively.

indeed ... i duno why i left him out sorry

Langford might line up in round 1 but the Hawks will be missing Cyril, Lake, Sewell and Stratton. If he plays he will be the sub or a tagger.
