Sling some Poo

Alright...my first RMT for the year.

I'm a bit unsure with the new price structure this year, makes team building much trickier and makes the thought behind team building that much more difficult!

Here's the team:

BACK: McVeigh, Mitchell, Swallow, Suckling, Webster, McDonald (Fuller/Georgiou)
MID: Pendlebury, Murphy, Watson, Liberatore, Cotchin, Wright, Michie, Polec (Dunstan/Morabito)
RUCK: Lobbe, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)
FWD: Dangerfield, Martin, Chapman, Breust, Taylor, Kennedy-Harris (Merret, Honeychurch)

Current bye structure is 7/9/14 with the plan to (hopefully) make some trades between the bye rounds to cover a few losses and upgrade non-performers.

I'm a bit hesistant about running so many rookies but feel as if I can strike a balance with the premiums I have chosen (especially the Mids)

Would appreciate some feedback, sling some poo at my team and make some suggestions, we'll see what sticks!

I'd appreciate any and all feedback, and I'll comment on your teams as well

Defence:  Overall not a bad side.  Fuller hasn't played so far, which is not good for job security.  I would consider changing him for Clurey/Langford/Langdon, depending on who gets selected round 1.

Mids:  Immediate thought no Ablett.  Think it's Russian roulette leaving him out.  I would consider upgrading one of Murphy/Watson/Liberatore/Cotchin to him.  Wright, I think, is a better selection forward, especially as you have two starting rookies forward, but I get the dpp thing.  Morabito I don't think is a good selection, maybe consider Cunningham/Robertson/Crouch.

Rucks: Fine.

Fwd.  Too week here.  Don't mind Chapman/Bruest for PODs though not sure about Chapman's durability, be prepared for him to miss games.  Don't like two starting rookies forward.  There just aren't enough with good job prospects to be confident in them.  I think you would be better with a third starting rookie in you mids, and get another premium/potential break outs in your forward line.  For some bargains consider Rohan/Bennedy/Caddy or moving Wright forward.

BACK: McVeigh, Mitchell, Swallow, Suckling, Webster, McDonald (Fuller/Georgiou)
MID: Pendlebury, Ablett, Watson, Thomas, Cotchin, Wright, Michie, Polec (Dunstan/Crouch)
RUCK: Lobbe, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)
FWD: Dangerfield, Martin, Chapman, Breust, Rohan, Kennedy-Harris (Merret, Honeychurch)

Made the following improvements.
Still not sure on having Ablett straight off the bat, i know he is GOD, but i think he must fall in price slightly before picking himself back up.

I much prefer having someone like a Liberatore, but anyway. For now Ablett stays.
Got rid of Murphy for Thomas to allow for the money.
Got rid of Morabito for crouch, and upgraded Taylor to Rohan

Swallow, Wright, Lobbe & Chapman...

you're trying too hard.

these guys dont score well (chapman did but wont any more)

the rest of your team is great except for these 4 players.

6 out of 10

I don't get the hate for Lobbe...sure he started 2013 extremely poorly but his final 6 games of the season showed what potential he has. I'm banking on a breakout for him this year, given Renouf and Redden aren't on the scene.

Likewise, I think that Chapman, albeit risky, has proven that he can still last out a game and pull some big scores.

I think that Swallow won't cop the tag as much as he did last year, and that can potentially see some big scores. Besides, he has DPP (along with Wright) which will help my team immensely.

I'm open to suggestions about replacements for these guys though!
