Any advice is good advice:

Def: J.McVeigh, S Mitchell, S Thompson, M Suckling, K Kolodjashnij, L Mcdonald  (M Fuller, T Cutler)

Mids: S Pendlebury, R Griffen, J Watson, T Rockliff, D Beams, D Thomas, J Martin, L Dunstan  (A Morabito, M Honeychurch)

Rucks: M Lobbe, A Sandilands (B Brown, T Nankervis)

Fwds: P Dangerfield, D Martin, C Wingard, M Clark, B Lennon, S Kersten (D Garlett, L Taylor)

Cash Left $600

Bye Structure 10/10/10:  Def 3/3/2 Mid 2/4/4 Ruck 1/1/2 Fwd 4/2/2

Happy to have 2 Rookie defenders on the field as it gives more balance in the side

Rookies obviously subject to NAB Challenge match form.

AaronKirk

Sorry, bye structure, cash left were with Murphy instead of Beams

Bye structure should be 11/9/10 with $1,700 Cash left.

Def: Obviously the 2 rookie def is to strengthen up other areas e.g Midfield.Thompson seems to be a good pick.
Mids: Good Depth here  with 5 premiums plus thomas & 2 of the best rookies.
Rucks: Good decision to pick Lobbe rather than risk 2 injury prone rucks.
Fwds: Wingard is in for a big season many will be picking Buddy instead but i think Wingard will do just as well.Bit Risky going for 2 rookies on the field but could work out.

Overall: Good strong team with a good bye structure. give it 8/10

Def: Good first 4 and Thompson good Pod! I think you are light on here because not many of the rookie depth isnt good in defence... i think imo 1 on field is the most you can have...
Mid: all the right premos but i think too many just because of all the rookies available to you... griffin or thomas would be the ones id consider downgrading from.. but a solid line anyway.
Ruc: m.lobbe is new burnman, im warning you all, i would not touch him... standarrd rucks from there, good.
Fwd: First 3 good but im not sure if wingard cab back up last year... great pick if he does. M.Clark is a walking injury, Lamb, menzel and stringer better options in my opinion. Lennon will play late not early look to get him to a mid pricer... normal rookies so i like that!

7 from me

So I have had a bit of a play around with my side and this is what I have come up with.

Def: McVeigh, Bartel, Mitchell, Sucking, KK, McDonald (Cutler, Fuller)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Steven, Rockliff, Beams, Thomas, Dunstan, Crouch (Morabito, Honeychurch)

Ruck: Lobbe, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)

Fwd: Dangerfield, Martin, Franklin, Clark, Fasolo, Garlett (Taylor, Impey)Cash left $2,700-

Bye Structure Def 3/3/2 Mid 4/2/4 Ruck 0/1/3 Fwd 3/2/3

The areas which I would look at would be to maybe downgrade Bartel to a Simpson or Adcock and upgrade Lobbe to Nic Nat however I like a few others believe that Lobbe will be the next Minson in 2014.

I would even consider downgrading Dangerfield to a Wingard or a Dixon and look to bring him as a priority between round 4 and 8
as Danger averages 72.43 SC Points vs Geelong, 86.98 vs Port Adelaide and 85.6 vs Sydney- the Crows first 3 opponents.

If I downgraded Danger Id look to upgrade one of KK or McDonald to a mid pricer such as D.Swallow or Grimes.

Thoughts?

I think the change you need to make to get the defender you need is to downgrade a midfield premium as 6 is too many you need one more rookie. Get Someone like martin Martin in the mids and the you could get Swallow or Grimes  for one of those 2rookie defenders prefer you get rid of KK. But if you are happy with the Suggestions you have mentioned go with them.
Leave Lobbe in the team Nic Nat is too much of a risk. Give the team an 8/10

AaronKirk

Changes made based on feedback:

Steven downgraded  to Michie
Bartel downgraded to Simpson
KK upgraded to Grimes
Clark upgraded to Dixon

New draft side- Will sit on it now until NAB challenge

Def: McVeigh, Mitchell, Simpson, Grimes, Suckling, McDonald (Cutler, Fuller)

Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Rockliff, Beams, Thomas, Michie, Dunstan, Morabito (Crouch, Honeychurch)

Ruck: Lobbe, Sandilands (Thurlow, Nankervis)

Fwd: Dangerfield, Martin, Dixon, Franklin, Fasolo, Garlett (Taylor, Impey)

Bye structure 9/9/12 Cash Left $4,600

Anthonyyyy

really looking like a solid side now don't know about Grimes though very injury prone! I would do a small downgrade to someone else I don't know how much he costs but if you are looking for guys that have been elite look at Sam Fisher he was a gun a few years back until injurys tore him down but apart from Grimes its a solid side :)

can you have a look at my team and give it a rate! http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,88934.0.html

This is what I have come up with since last post here. Bit different but very happy with it. Any suggestions to bring in Danger or Goldy appreciated-

Def: P.Hanley, K.Simpson, G.Birchall. S.Hurn, L.McDonald, T.Langdon (W.Langford, T.Clurey)

Mid: G.Ablett, J.Watson, N.Fyfe, T.Cotchin, D.Beams, D.Tyson, J.Polec, X.Ellis (L.Dunstan, S.Lemmens)

Ruck: M.Leuenberger, A.Sandilands (F.Thurlow, M.King)

Fwd: D.Martin, C.Wingard, JJ Kennedy, J.Caddy, S.Higgins, B.Kennedy (G.Rohan, J.Kennedy-Harris)

$1,400 left

Yeah, think you need danger, without doing the maths, can you downgrade kennedy and use the cash to upgrade wingard?
Maybe even worth downgrading GAJ to Pendles if that gets it over the line?

JJ is an interesting call. Would prefer Pav or Buddy.

Dont worry bout Goldy, the Berger is a solid ruck choice.

AaronKirk

These are the adjustments made:

Bennedy -> McCarthy
Wingard -> Danger

$21k now left.
