How did Hmac go

I was out last night and there for didn't get to see the game is he still a guy worth picking or should I go for someone else?

He looked like a bloke who hadn't played a game in 18 months... but that will improve with game time.
I'm still leaning towards Hickey as I don't think HMac will play every game early on.

He played 40ish minutes and was absolutely knackered every time he came off
Right at the end he had ice on his leg, but I don't think it was anything alarming

Very risky to start him this year. He will be managed, and you cant underestimate just how much time out of the game he has had will impact him. You'd be silly to expect him to just come back after that long and start punching out tonnes from the get go

I'd be leaning towards Simpson playing over HMac.thats the impression down in Geelong.

No way he will string the first 7 games together, he's a great player and I'd love to see him get back to good footy, but I've never so much as considered him.

Been burned once in 2012 so no.and when my brother and law who barracks for North said prior to  2013 that HMac would go down.. I thought .. No way. He will play a bit this season but no way to be considered in SC

I dont think playing the first 7 games averaging 102 scoring 77,110,117,88,140,111,77 and rising up to 506k is being burnt. I happily took his 100+ avg and a low of 77 and when he was finished I swaped him with Jacobs.

Might I add. I traded him in when he got the 77.. So personally I got burned.was for Sandi if I remember. Terrible ruck year
