Crows utility Ricky Henderson will have scans on a serious lower-leg injury sustained at training on Monday.

Henderson suffered the injury during a training session for the players, who didn't play in Adelaide's NAB Challenge win on Port Adelaide on Sunday.

A former rookie, Henderson has played 56 games for Adelaide. He emerged as a damaging running defender in late last season before a knee injury put a premature end to his year.

The Club will issue more information on the injury as it comes to hand.

Time to reshuffle my backline now.

I'm not really sure who benefits here... Crouch? Smith?

Depends how Adelaide were planning to use him this year. If more forward, I'd suggest it helps Kerridge. If back, then maybe it helps Martin? (although he's quite a bit shorter). I'm interested to see if they upgrade a rookie now, wouldn't mind seeing Battersby.

Advertiser mentioned today about Ellis-Yolmen being a potential replacement.
