Dalziell is not necessarily in the best 22 at the Weagles
Palmer wont be playing the first few rounds and could be as late as round 5 before he plays.

Armitage, Masten, Swift are good options around that price range

dalziell is DEFINATELY in their best 22... why the hell would they draft him to use in the reserves? Not palmer... i'd say Masten or McVeigh mate

valkorum

chosch.  I dont agree that Dalziell is in the best 22, he may be a good runner but where is he gonna fit in the team?  Even Monty doesn't think he is in the 22.

yeh i saw what monty wrote, but i disagree with him on dalziell. the eagles could really use a player like him, he's twice as good as someone like shuey...

valkorum

I believe he is the same caliber of player as Ebert, Swift, Shuey, Masten.  Then you have Priddis, Kerr, Selwood, Embley, Rosa.  Where does he fit in the Eagles structure as there is at least 9 other players in line for the same spot?

He was unaccountable at Brisbane and was allowed to roam around half back.  Hurn and Selwood/Nicoski play that roaming role at the Eagles.
