Dustin Martin to play on the half back line more often? Correct me wrong but he did play of the half back line last nab game? He kicked 23.32 last season so he has he found himself a new position for the 2014 season? Most of all, would this position change (if it does happen) effect his sc scoring?

That would be nice to know if he did so anyone who got to watch it ? but the Tiges disposals were terrible against the Dees and will be seeing what happens in there next game , I think common sense will prevail and he will be played where he is most damaging mid - forward

As a forward he blows the game open in the first half then drifts out. They're working on his defensive game as a measure to stop the fade outs.

He'll play everywhere.

Wonder what his coach and teammates think about him trying to seek opportunities elsewhere then crawling back with his tail between his legs and signing a 2 year deal...
Dusty will always be just a ''good'' player imo not a great one, looking for any excuse to not have him this year lol  :o

He will spread his game time between mid, forward and back. Will only increase his scoring if anything. Lock him in

His new role does worry me a little bit. He could be exposed and worked over by gut running small forwards. His disposal efficiency could suffer. He didn't look that comfortable down there. On the the other hand he may still play all over and he can get some cheap stats off HB.

Had him locked but undecided ATM. Any source for him playing all over the ground Quinny?

I don't think there's much need to be worried about the new role. He'll be an offensive player out of the back half so wouldn't be too worried about him being ran all over by gut running small forwards, as one of our other guys down back will man them up.

Dusty will be a distributor out of the back half, has a booming foot on him, I'm expecting him to play most of the time in the midfield while acting as a link up man out of the back half, much as Brandon Ellis played in 2013. Plenty of cheap +6's to be won!

I don't see this as a negative, if Dusty can be trusted at more positions on the field, that means potentially more game time in my eyes. (Yes yes his tank blah blah)  ;D
