Different Team - Strong Rookie Based Mid

DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, S. Hurn, M. Suckling, K. Kolodjashnij, L. McDonald (J. Laidler, M. Fuller)

McVeigh and Mitchell are locks, Hurn has an easy draw and is underpriced and then I don't really like any other mid price options after that so if rookies can play that would be great, looks unlikely at this stage but il still have a go at making a team based on them playing. KK could score well if he gets a go as he scored extremely high at the championships averaging 136SC points per 120 minutes. McDonald should get games. Laidler is back up insurance if the others miss games, however I also have doubts of him getting games at the swans, and fuller could be a good pick up.

MID: G. Ablett, S. Pendlebury, J. Kennedy, D. Beams, J. Martin, D. Tyson, C. Beams, V. Michie (X. Ellis, L. Dunstan)

Ablett and Pendles should be top 2 SC scorers by years end so may as well have them in from the start. JPK is a risk but wont get the tag at Sydney and hoping he can get back to his 2012 form as he struggled with injury in the second half of last year. Beams is an absolute lock at that price, should average 110+ at least. I haven't gone with daisy due to his ankle risks, instead I have loaded up on the best rookies available to make lots of cash. As you can see I don't have a DPP to the forwards here as most teams do as i would only want DPP for the bye rounds and I doubt 2 of garlett, honeychurch and taylor will play round 1, therefore my aim is to bring in a DPP forward that gets games closer to the byes as a downgrade target, and i can also make money that way from one of my current players getting games up til the bye.

RUC: N. Naitanui, A. Sandilands (T. Nankervis, M. King)

If Nic Nat plays round 1 i will probably start with him as he should be top 3 rucks by the end of the year, however with doubts about his groin and whether he plays round 1, i can always change to leuy/mcevoy/mumford/lobbe, etc. Sandi is great value and only need him to play til the bye rounds and trade him to the inform ruckman in the comp. Nankervis is the only rookie looking like playing any games (maybe thurlow as well) and King is only there as the floating donut for the captain loophole.

FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Franklin, D. Zorko, J. Caddy, G. Rohan (D. Garlett, J. Kennedy-Harris)

Danger and Martin are locks to me, Buddy should improve his score a bit at least, capable of going huge and don't want to miss out if he averages 105+. Zorko should get a bit more time in the midfield hopefully and improve on last year. Caddy im hoping will breakout this year, looked good the other night getting the contested ball. Rohan should get games and score better after a full preseason. Garlett im unsure about and if JKH keeps up last nights form he should get games.
