I am very happy with the balance of the rest of my team and only have enough cash to do one of the above upgrades.

Please have a vote and provide comments if you would be so kind.

I think Mitchell will easily be the top defender this year. Doubts on nic nat and Dixon.

Tough call. Mitchell will easily be a top defender, Dusty should be a top forward. NicNat may not be a top ruck but also I wouldn't immediately count him out...
On the other hand, Birchall is underpriced for what he can do, Dixon was flying until niggles curbed his season, whereas Lobbe seems popular but is probably the most unproven of the three. Seems that the popularity is based off the back half of the season where he averaged higher after his bye (season average was 86 from 19 games, but he was closer to 100 post-bye, and round 20-24 scored 154, 104, 127, 79 - average 116). I would be looking to replace either Dixon or Lobbe, depending how much faith you have in the respective players.

The reason I don't think you should get Smitch is that I can't see his price changing drastically so shouldn't be too much of an issue to get him in later. If you have a R/F rookie at R3/R4, then I would probably swap Lobbe, though I suspect that will be the most unpopular call.

If Sandi is ur other ruck then I agree with above. Then u have Dixon as cover for Nic-Nat/Sandi. (personally though I can't pick Nic-Nat everyone pumps him up every PS but he always gets injured which is why Dixon becomes doubly important)
As GCS says depends on faith in Lobbe/Dixon.
I would def keep Birchall as he is underpriced and Mitchell is unlikely to change in price too much. Better to save money in the backs where u can IMO even this season.
