I'm wondering if anyone has information on how the best teams track during the year? i.e last year I got off to a terrible start. How far behind the top team do you have to be before you ditch your hope of winning the overall and maybe save trades to focus on a weekly prize or a league win? Has an overall winner ever been say 2000 points behind at round 6 or 9 or 12 etc etc. I was hoping for data rather than opinion.

roti

got no data, but from what i understand the people who win usually all have good starts, and trade really aggressively at the start, burn most of their trades getting a full strength team and then just buckle in for the ride and hope they don't get too many injuries

if your ever 2000 pts behind at any stage your no hope

You would want to be avg about 2250-2300 in the first 6 weeks to have a sniff at it
