OK so load up on mid pricers in the first round then fix up after round 1

why would you load up on mid pricers if their price tag won't go up and they might not even score well, if you're going to use this wisely I think you should just keep your starting team then fix up any shocker desicions

EDIT

or maybe try someone like Steven then just fix it back up R2, i just don't see why mid pricers even come into play

Mr.Craig

Depends on if you think two midpricers will outscore a premo/cheapo combo.

Obviously you won't pick midpricers that are duds... Their price tag has nothing to do with it because you can wipe your team clean after round 1

OK so say instead of going McVeigh (529k and 95-100) and a rookie like McDonald (243k and 50-60) = 772k and 160ish points
You can go say CPearce (395k and 85-90) and Hansen (391k and 80-85) * I actually think Hansen will go higher. = 786k and 175pts

You also are less likely to get subbed with established players and there are less risks involved with players on debut fading out of games.

Its a small point gain but could add up to 100 or so extra points across your whole team. Especially when you consider teams and their draws or opponents like Pendles v Crowley round 1 or that Sydney play GWS. Guys like Bird will become very relevant for round 1.

You'd also just pick the cheapest rooks possible on the bench to have more cash to spend on the on-field players.

The dumber comp just got even dumber.

Another reason why SC is the premier comp ;)

Burn the witch!

I'm sure we all remember how hard it is to pick a starting team with those pesky split rounds and I guess it's meant to be a reaction to that but as seems to be the way they have gone overboard.

everyone knows how big a DT fan I am. the scoring system is much better than SC, but these rules are just getting worse and worse. Old school DT is the best game but it has baiscally died. SC is closer to old schoold DT than this AFL fantasy rubbish.

not sure why they are doing it, they are just continually annoying their core participants who log in every week to gain a few casual players. Who will give up anyway.

Been very laid back in my research and time spent on dt through the summer. Just heard this the other day and my first response to my mate was 'you f#$%ing kidding me'.

Can they make it anymore easier?
