On a couple of occasions last season, Simpson attracted attention from opposition taggers trying to counter his ability to run out of the backline and use the ball.

Seven times he dropped below 75 Fantasy points due to a tag.

Is certainly a good option, though I prefer Hibberd to him for that d3 spot, I think he has more chance of lifting his average or more importantly not declining. Will definitely be an upgrade target for me though really rate him as a player, very courageous.

My big concern is that with Scotland playing a lesser role this year, he will be Carlton's main play maker coming out of defense therefore he will get tagged heavily.

Birchall and Suckling are underpriced premos that will hopefully go ewll....
Gwilt and McDonald are my two "reliable" rookies.....

Could, potentially go Gwilt to Simpson...... but as you can imagine, I dont have $170k spare cash sitting around....

Could potentially downgrade Daw to a rookie then go Gwilt to Simpson.......... but, might as well wait and see if Daw will get consistent games and rise in price quick.... esp. after that afl.com.au article.
