I know i have plenty of cash left over and i want to upgrade either Rhyce Shaw,Clark or Daisy ideally upgrade 2 of them!
Would love any ideas on who to turn them into,
Cheers!

I would be reluctant to select Shaw.

McVeigh looks a top 3 - 4 defender so why not get on ASAP?

Griffen a good POD - maybe.

Forwards a bit thin. I would bolster this first.

Good luck.

I traded down ablett to kieran jack and then upped shaw to scotty thompson and clark to pavlich
what do you guys think now?

Much better IMO.

Be warned however - you'll cop some flak for leaving out the great little bald man formerly of Geelong.

Hurr Durr Gary Ablett!

I'll be honest, I crunched the numbers and would rather Ablett than Pendles, but you can't go wrong with either and you will want both by the end. I'm starting with both.
I kinda disagree with the good doc's first advice to bolster the forward line. I think this year it's the place to go light, as it's virtually impossible to pick which of the 400-500k players will be top by the end of the year, and there's about 10 of them. There a raft of cut price players (<250k) who should all be able to get games and make money, while allowing you to assess which of the forwards you want to have in... Hogan, Clark, Higgins, Fasolo, Bock, Rohan, Kanezis - if they're playing they're all a good chance to make some money. At the other end of the scale, you've got Buddy, Chappy, Pav, Zorko, Roughy, Dixon, Dustbin, Boomer, NRoo, and maybe Gunston/Sylvia (as outside chances) who could all be top forwards. Dangerfield is the only one I have confidence in saying he will be top 6. Good luck picking the others correctly. Personally I'm taking the punt on Buddy and Pav, though Pav is still in and out at the moment.
Definitely don't see a problem with having a lighter forward line and spending the cash elsewhere, it's the line that makes the most sense to me strategically.

yeah i was thinking the same thing to be honest, apart from dangerfield i couldnt really see whose a certain top 6 scorer and i loved having both gaz and pendles my midfield looks weird with gaz in it just doesnt seem right! haha
i'm not sure ill have a look around at other teams and see what theyve done but i think i agree with you mate
