Hey Jervz

You've got a nice looking team here, I just think that both the defense and the forwards are trailing off a bit at the end - not sure how consistently Laidler and Fuller will get games in your defence, same with Taylor up front. Defense rookies suck this year to be frank, L.Mac is a bit wasted being on the mid bench when neither Cutler nor Thompson can DPP swap so if for example fuller, Cutler and Thompson are all out, you're eating a donut while you have someone playing on the mid bench. I'm all about flexibility but you have to think how it will actually work out. Between Honeychurch, Garlett and Taylor you've got a better level of flexibility, you're only screwed if they're all out. Still, I would be concerned about that being a real possibility...

IMO I think you need to cut down somewhere and spend a bit more on players with better job security

I think you have spent to much money on your mid bench.
Def: I would move fuller to the bench here and replace mcdonald if you want 2 def Rookies on the field
Mids: I think you need a cheaper rookie on the interchange bench who is likely to play Downgrade Murphy to thomas
Rucks: Downgrade Nic Nat to Lobbe or someone even Cheaper depends on Nab Cup form
Fwds: Rohan is bit of a risk here seems to be getting positive feedback from the Herald Sun Today.

You may want to leave this team as is that is upto you i am just given you my opnion give it a 7/10

Never mind about the rookie positions atm. They always change after rnd 1 teams announced. If naitanui is ready to go rnd 1, he is a lock in my books. I could always downgrade watson to dale thomas and upgrade sandi to whoever i please. But as it says in the subject title, i am very happy with this squad. I have finished top 1000 the last 5 years with 1 year being a 99th finish with similar line-up's. I also like the 9-7-14 bye structure i have, when you work out the premium bye structure its 5-4-5 leaving 9 rookies to be traded by the rnd 10 bye (if they all play, which they wont).
