B: McVeigh, Hanley, Birchall, Suckling, Kolo, Laidler (Fuller, Cutler)
M: Ablett, Pendles, Rockliff, Libba, D.Beams, J.Martin, C.Beams, Polec (O'Rourke, Honeychurch (M/F)
R: Leuenburger, Sandi (Currie, Rookie)
F: Danger, Martin, Franklin, M.Clark, Lamb, Bock (Markworth, Gartlett (M/F)

Kitty: $8,100

Need to take a hit somewhere so looking at the three bargains in the forward line.  Created the link with Honeychurch and Gartlett to reduce the risk there a little.

Looking at the last 10 games of Rocky and Libba they are pretty hard to ignore for me ...

Interested in people thoughts?

Defence is looking very solid with 3 premos that are all 100+ then Suckling which should be a lock! but I think you could get more out of Mcdonald than Laidler so try and find some cash there for that.

Midfield is very very strong and I like it a lot maybe for some more cash look at downgrading Beams to Thomas but that's a risk and you may not want to do that. And im with you on Rocky espescially he is too good to pass up and Libba is more of a risk but at the end of last season he was on fire! Rookies are strong

I like Burger as he could be the top ruck at the end of the season provided he stays healthy and Sandi should be a lock! and I know its early but Bellchambers is injured and will miss the first 4 weeks or so which makes Thurlow look very good as a bench option so keep and eye on him

First three forwards are very strong and im fine that you have went cheap with your other 3 accept apart from Clark the other 2 are very risky and I would rather you take someone like Lennon and Hogan rather than Bock and Lamb but I cant comment on Lamb because I don't know much about him!

hope that helped

can you please rate my team http://forum.fanfooty.com.au/index.php/topic,88705.0.html

Yeah your forward line looks a bit iffy at 4,5,6 but the only place to get some money without downgrading Gaz or Pendles I can see is J Martin for a cheaper rookie good luck

Thanks for the feedback guys.  Still playing with my structure and trying to find that balance :)

Def: If you are going to go with 2 rookie backs replace laidler with Mcdonald otherwise i would upgrade him to Grimes
Mids: Maybe downgrade Libba to Thomas to open up money and Polec to Dunstan apart from that mids are good
Rucks: No Problems
Fwds: Maybe Lamb to Caddy depending on whether you want to improve your forwards or defence.

Anyone you have a good team here. Good luck  7/10

Made some pretty major changes today.  Decided to go with a more even side, mainly due to the absolute lack of quality defender rookies this season.  I am not even sold Kolo, McDonald  and Laidler are locks for round 1.  However i think Fuller being mature age should be good to start.

Updated Team:

B: McVeigh, Hanley, Simpson, Birchall, Suckling, Fuller (Clurey, Cutler)
M: Ablett, Pendles, Rocky, D.Beams, D.Thomas, J.Martin, Polec, Dunstan (O'Rourke, Gartlett)
R: Grundy, Sandi (Currie, Smith)
F: Danger, Martin, Franklin, Hawkins, M.Clark, Bock (Rohan, Markworth)

So before people look at Hawkins lets consider the facts.  He averaged 28.2 points under his average from 2012 in 2013 due to back problems.  This preseason he has completed every training session all with the main group.  It seems he is fully fit and with Pods gone should be the single focal point up forward.  He is also nice swap for T.Walker who should start the season late and should make me some quick cash.

Looking to make plenty of cash with this team.  Better or worse them my original team guys?

DEF Love your backline, very strong, 1 rookie, nice.
MID 5 "premo" with GAJ/Pendles. nice, Rocky/Daisy/Beams should improve. nice rookies.
RUC Light in the rucks, but both will play, Sandi underpriced and Grundy to improve.
FWD i like your FWD line, risky but can pay off BIG TIME.
Hawkins is a gun, and if its true that he's over his back problem then he's a bargain.
Dusty to move to DEF

You have improved this team up back and fwd line even though you have weaken your rucks
Backs: Much better as you only now have 1 rookie on the field.Birchall is a good unique pick at D4
Mids: Strong Midfield
Rucks: I think you may get away with this line as Grundy will improve even more this year
Fwds: Hawkins is a big risk here but may pay off.

Overall Team has a couple of Risky picks but seems to be ok give it a 7.5/10

Cheers for the feedback guys.  Will continue to watch Hawkins in the pre-season as my POD :)
