Thoughts???

DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, P. Hanley, K. Simpson, M. Suckling, K. Kolodjashnij (M. Fuller, D. Gardiner)
MID: S. Pendlebury, R. Griffen, T. Cotchin, D. Beams, D. Thomas, J. Martin, C. Beams, L. Dunstan (J. O'Rourke, L. Taylor)
RUC: M. Lobbe, A. Sandilands (T. Nankervis, M. King)

CASH: $16,300
BYES: 9/10/11

my team at the moment is extremely similar to this ....

Me> Scott Thompson, Grimes, Fyfe, XEllis, Bock $55k 9/10/11

You> Hanley, Simpson, Cotchin, CBeams, Lennon $16k 9/10/11

I guess I have to say I like your team as it is so close to mine ...

i personally think Xellis has better job security than CBeams but poses injury risks and Bock also has better JS than Lennon but again has the injury risk haha

If we played off there would be a 10 point difference to decide it i think haha

Cheers eaglesman, id rate your team but you've pretty much summed it up there, can't really say its bad when its almost the same as mine, good to see we are on the same though path hahaha.

Cheers for the advice mate, I really want to pick X. Ellis as I reckon he could average around 70, some previous comments were saying I should get someone else as he wont get games, youd know best mate, any clue how his been training and do you reckon he will get much game time? cheers.

Mate Xav Ellis is a absolute lock! He is loved by the coach who has already come out and said he is best 22 ... I have to be honest, I do not understand how anysupercoach team can not have him in their side ....obviously the downside is the injury risk but at that price he could generate you cash in a very quick amount of time ...brings pace and skill to our side ... absolutely stoked to have him at the eagles

Really like this team in comparison to your first mate. Its solid all over the ground.
Only concern is taking the risk on two breakout contenders in your fwd line in Darling and Caddy but I've pencilled them in to both have big years so I wouldn't be too worried.

Anthonyyyy

I really like this team and the only piece of advice I have is maybe downgrade either Swallow or Suckling to L.Mcdonald and spend the extra $100/$200 on uprgarding other positions well that's what I would do but that's just my opinion

Can you rate my team please

johnnytheboy1

I think your team is really strong one of the better teams on here and a excellent Bye Structure
Def: Made the right decision by going for one rookie Great Defencive premiums
Mids: Can't fault this line only time will tell if Ellis can break into the eagles team but someone has to take Kerr's spot.
Rucks: I think you will see alot more improvement from Lobbe
Fwds: I think Darling can only get better so he is not a poor choice here caddy is a good pick

I give this team a 9/10 because i can see strengths accross each line.

mitchell and lennon v swallow and caddy are the changes .. pretty much all square for mine ... both lennon and caddy are fringe players on their respective teams lists ... have to wait and see i guess

your DEF's are fine. good picks.
Mids are great, Griffen is a nice POD, haven't seen him in many teams. Cotchy will get back to his best.
Beams/Thomas a must at those prices.
Lobbe is popping up a lot more in teams these days, i can see why.
If he can continue his 2nd half season form, he'd be a great pick up.
Love the Darling pick, got him in my side for now. Should do very very well with WCE's easy first run of games.
Caddy has been in and out of my side, i think he can go 15-20 points better this year.

Changed it up again so I could get the premo mid players I really want in the one team! I know the backs are weak with 2 rookies on field, and I have said myself I don't like the idea of that but if they are named round 1 I will probably take the risk, just a wait and see. cheers guys.

I think having 2 rookies in the backs is fine, I've done the same setup. I really like your team. Just don't like Rohan. He is not known for scoring well in sc

Gday DC 13, i will go by position like everyone else!

DEF: Youve probably picked 3 of the best 5 premos there very solid! Matt Suckling is more than likely at his price. Not sure if KK is ready or whetherer he will get a game, see nab cup to make sure he mixes it with the big boys.. McDonald and fuller are great picks, there hasnt been much on cutler and whether he will play. If he does at that price hes a lock!

MID: Good Premiums, should score at least 115+ as should beams. All rookies are good, just depends on whether ellis lines up rd 1... Id have one of Michie, Polec and C.Beams for now... but it doesnt matter! Good solid line here.

RUC: RUC1 is the important position on the team, stuffing that up almost ends your season. You need a proven premium (that isnt coming back from injuy or one of the players at the top of the range! Sandi is must have atm. Nankervis lock, i would suggest Apenness with clarke injured, and also becaus freo dont have a fwd that can play ruck so they may play him straight away.

FWD: Usual first 3, good place to start. Darling is a talent but is he a potential breakout, look into him a bit more i think. Rohan good, if he starts to score low in the first 2 rounds get him out... Kersten and Garlett must haves. Lets hope Paul Roos gives kennedy harris a go i see potential 70-80!

Rate : 7.4 (rated each position added and divided by 4..)

I for one don't mind the two rookies down back at all, I would have more confidence at this stage of McDonald and KK lining up round 1 then I am Kersten, Garlett or any of the forward rookies. McDonald has been around North's setup for a year already and they love him, starred in the VFL finals. KK is a high draft pick and you think they would be pretty keen to slot him onto a back flank with McKenzie on the other, thats a pretty formidable pair going into the future.

Aside from this it is an extremely solid team, all your choices have been obviously thought out, although I too would question Rohan, few others around his price and discounting his very big sub risk, you have to question his scoring potential regardless, which too me doesn't look too high at this stage. Still, a good team for sure at this time of year
