I'm a BIG fan of DPPs.
Shane Savage, get more of a run at StK with a crappier team/middfield.

Your backs 4, 5, 6 don't look to strong if they get a game at all will have to wait and see , no pendles or ablett in the mids think danger needs to be forward overall lots of money spent in mids but they look weak , have not seen maric in to many teams don't mind that , forwards would like to see danger in there instead of sylvia but that is my thoughts good luck.

Team looks good, a few unique picks which I like.
Backs: put Sam Mitchell here. Also try and get suckling in. He is very cheap and will be a realizable scorer and could turn out to be a keeper. If you move Mitchell to backs u might have one too many premiums. I would downgrade bartel, as the talk is he is to spend a lot more time forward which will effect his scores..
Mids: I like the picks of liberatore and Steven, haven't seen them in many teams. I think you need either pendles or Ablett, or both.  Move danger to the forward line and free up a spot. Not sure about savage, but he could make you some good money..
Rucks: first team I have seen with maric in it. I like it.. Hopefully he can get back to his 2012 form..
Forwards: Wingard is a nice pick, but will he get a lot more attention this year? Dixon is becoming a very popular pick. Sylvia is an interesting pick, not sure how he will go, but could turn out to be a good POD.. Can't comment on any rookies yet, they will sort themselves out.. Your team looks good, I just think a bit of shuffling needs to be done. Have a look at my team if you get a chance. Cheers..

DEF - D1-3 strong, 4-6 weak, and you dont even know if they'll play weekly.

Mid - move Mitchell to the DEF, & Danger to the FWD, Love the steven/Libba picks as i do reckon they'll improve. Bring in DBeams as i think he'll go 115+ for bargain price.

Rucks - do you think Maric can get back to his best?? Sandi bargain.

fwds - not sold on Dixon/Sylvia. better options who will output the same for cheapers
Hogan picked up an injury didnt he??

check out my team

Hi SmallBert14
It is good to see neew people on here i will give some advise and that is your team is unbalanced you need to strengthen your defence
Backs: Get Rid of Langford & one of Kolodjashniij or Mcdonald and move Mitchell into your defence from the Mids take Bartel out & Include Swallow & Suckling
Mids Move Dangerfield to the Forward line replace with Beams Savage to a rookie for example Dunstan to open up money to get Pendles in Replacing mitchell
Rucks: Downgrade Maric to Lobbe to open up more money
Fwds: Prettty good here but you may need to downgrade here to get the money to strengthen other areas on the field

You need to have a rethink  as this team is not going to score highly i give it a 6.5/10

Obviously need to re-think your structure a bit but I quite like the players you have picked, bit of tinkering and I think you are well on the way :)

Having Dpp players is very handy and important mate but u can trade and create the links later in the season when trades are running low and injuries and suspensions kick in...
Your midfield slots are too important. You need the cream of the crop in those spots. As these boys have stated Mitchell at D1 and Danger at F1 are the way too go.
You really need to find a way of getting either pendles or ablett and absolutely Beams in ur line up.
Your on the right track tho mate like ur Maric, libba, stevens and Wingard picks.
keep tinkering  ;)

Hey Smallbert

Personally I don't mind that you have Danger in the mids, if players like Garlett/Honeychurch play and increase their price then you can trade them out and use DPP to bring in a mid then - however I do echo the thoughts that there is a lot of money spent in the mids which has cost the other lines a lot. A few bargain options available in Beams, Daisy Thomas and Marc Murphy, personally I don't trust Murph but Daisy and Beams both in my side unless they aren't named round 1. Also Suckling as others have mentioned is good value, and you've already got Sandi. I like some of the unique mid picks but it's meant a lot of money spent there and I'm not so sure that you've got value for it.

As with everyone we're waiting to see how the rookie situation pans out but I struggle to see Langford getting into the Hawks defence. They've got Mitchell, Birchall, Burgoyne, Suckling, Schoenmakers, Stratton, Gibson and Lake to come back after serving his GF suspension. That's a hugely talented and experienced bunch. Ultimately you need a guaranteed set of field players every week, Langford on the field is almost a guaranteed donut I would say.

Nice start with a few good uniques, just add in a few more value picks and see what you can do with the money you gain
