Exciting young Crow Brodie Smith has signed a two-year contract extension, tying him to the Club until at least the end of 2016.

Selected with pick No.14 in the 2010 AFL National Draft, Smith has played 56 games for Adelaide.

The 22-year-old has established himself as an integral part of the Crows defence, where he uses his offensive run and neat foot skills to the team's advantage. Smith has been one of Adelaide's best performers in the opening two rounds of the season. He amassed 28 possessions, seven marks, seven inside 50ms and a trademark long-range goal in Showdown XXXVI on Saturday.

Out of curiosity, do we see him continuing in this role? Who would you pick out of Smiddy and Jaensch?

Always been a fan of this guy.

Was very happy to nab him in a trade for Worlds in the off-season. Repaid the faith nicely this past weekend.  8)

Bit underrated tbh, so this is good to hear.

He's a close mate of Polec, barracked for Port as a youngster ( I think ), was hoping he'd come to the dark-side haha. He's a good signing for Adelaide, I reckon he'll be a great player
