NORTH Melbourne has been dealt a blow ahead of the 2014 season with key forward Robbie Tarrant suffering a recurrence of the lower leg injury that sidelined him for nine games last year.

North football director Geoff Walsh told NMFC.com.au that Tarrant had been diagnosed with a tibial stress reaction that would sideline him for the first few rounds of the season.
