Thoughts
Cotchins average dropped 10 PPG in 2013, after a career best year in 2012 that saw him average 116, he returned a modest 106 last season. However, over his first eight matches the Richmond skipper churned out seven centuries at an average of 117, until a niggling knee injury seemingly restricted him from producing his best football on a regular basis for the remainder of the year. His contested possession is a highlight of his game along with his strong tackling but one statistic he will be looking to regain is his impact on the scoreboard. After booting 39 goals in his previous two seasons, Cotchin registered just six for 2013. Cotchin will turn 24 early in the season and with a tick over 100 games to his name, the former number two draft pick is heading into the prime of his career and will be back to his best.

Verdict
I think Cotchin is a must for your midfield; he is at a very good price considering his capabilities. A very consistent scorer and rarely misses matches, I expect him to return to his 2012 form and lead the Tigers from the front once again.

Round 8 bye and he plays teams early with taggers I like.

Won't be starting him, if he shakes the taggers he will be in the squad round 9.

Well then Deledio is a lock if Cotchin is suddenly the player who is going to get tagged.

quite often teams have two or more taggers. I still think lids will get most of the number 1 tags but most teams will try to lock down both if they tag at all.
