Verdict: I really don't know much about Sam Shaw but apparently he's one of the most injury prone players in the AFL. If he can get in a full pre-season without getting injured you could consider him but I'd strongly suggest either forking out the extra 90k for Matt Suckling or save yourself some cash and get a rookie.

He would't be a terrible option at that price, but with Suckling, Waters and possibly Bock already in my backline I don't really want any other risks with guys coming off injuries
