Tabs Predictions

2014 DT Average: 100

Tabs says: Very surprising that Hanners scores better in SC than DT as he isnt known for gathering 1%s. As an inside mid in the engine room of the Swans, he will attract a tag every now and then and his scores will suffer. He can score big but with a difference of 95 between his highest and lowest score in DT, select him with caution.

Mr.Craig

He was looking like a decent pick up going into the byes and then went into full on rollercoaster mode. Has a nice ceiling when things go right but I'd prefer someone steadier I think.

Ricochet

At the end of the day if your going for overall, the roller coaster doesn't really matter as long as they are finishing on a big total of points. Not sure if Hanners will score enough to be a top 10 mid or make enough cash to be a cash cow/stepping stone

Yeah @ $480k/490k he is that awkward price. if you think he can go super premium its a steal, but consistency is an issue.

Dont forget though he will only be turning 23 in Feb next year.....

The_Captain

Sydney have too many good midfielders and the spread of dt points makes him a no go for me. Too many guys stealing points off one another. Especially with parker and Mitchell getting better.

Spinking

Think he will start to add consistency to his game this year. Agree that other mids might take points from him, but also feel that taggers might be more likely to go to KJack or others.

Reminds me a lot of Sammy Mitchell around this age. Hoping he starts to produce a similarly consistent fantasy scores.

Was the opposite last year Spink. Jack, JPK got the early tag, but by mid year Hanners was on fire. Got a couple of really close checks and then to try and change it up Horse gave him a couple of run with jobs.

Think that is the best thing about the Swans midfield, almost the best in the comp, cant stop them all.

Would think he'll be elite one day, 2014? Not sure but not the worst unique either, I do expect improvement now he knows how to rip the opp apart
