They probably don't see that much more improvement in Magner compared to others on their list

Exactly this. ^

Why try and improve a 26 (going on 27) year old's poor kicking, when you can invest on fixing younger guys like McKenzie or perhaps (even though I don't think he'll make it) Nicholson's kicks?

If he were younger, then yes he probably would still be on the list.

Add to that the inclusions of Tyson, Michie, Vince and possibly a mid at #9 and suddenly the depth is far greater and we can start being picky. Hence he has no place on the list.

Noz

Stark was really unlucky.

Spent 19 games on the sidelined with 3 different injuries, In the 5 games he played in, 2 of them he got injured in the first half and the other 3 he dominated and was very good in the middle. Did need to add a bit of muscle onto him but was deffinetly a good development prospect for the Dees to work in and with this being such a poor draft you would think Melbourne would look to develop guys like Stark for one more year.

Taggert was knocking on the door several times this year for a senior debut after some impressive games would of thought he could of been giving a crack filling the void Sylvia left.
