SCOTT Thompson and Daniel Wells have tied for North Melbournes 2013 best and fairest award in a thrilling count at Crown Casino on Monday night.

The key defender and midfielder finished the count locked on 50 votes to share the Roos coveted Syd Barker Medal, one vote clear of ruckman Todd Goldstein with vice-captain Drew Petrie fourth, three votes further back.

Lol been at enough B and F's over the years to know exactly how they work. SJ one was strange because he got so many brownlow votes.
Without looking into Swallow, he was obviously affected by his injury
