I was really hoping for Acres with our first pick but key fwds are a priority atm. Don't honestly know much about Apeness but he looks pretty impressive from his bio

From what I can tell he was the Boyd replacement for the Eastern Ranges when he went down with injury.  At 200cm and 98kg he already has an AFL sized body - just needs to build his strength.

Not really - he was the #3 big in the draft behind Boyd and McCarthy.  Both of them were gone at our pick so we took the next best big.

But yeah, they addressed a need which is always good and yep, he was next in line.

We dont really need another midfielder so Acres wasnt required. 

I was annoyed when GWS took McCarthy - they now have Patton, Boyd, Cameron and McCarthy.  How the hell are they going to play all 4 of them.

They might be planning on trying mccarthy down back, or preparing if they think patton will leave.
