AF 2014 Profile: Jimmy Toumpas

most high draft picks  usually take the 3 to 4 years to really break out at AFL level, some buck the trend and go great season one or two, no knock on jimmy just think he will take the usual 3 seasons to get into gear.

being he is more of a classy player he needs to get used to the speed and pressure of afl to do what he does well at afl level.

where as your more in and under players and sheer accumulators like titch and greene probably find it easier to do what they do straight away.

this guy could be pendles like rather than selwood like, big wraps on him.  keen to see viney get a good run at it too...

I don't disagree he did look a little average, but i think it's a bit hard to judge him on his first season playing with a very unsettled team and having the injuries he had with very little preseason fitness.

Played through a bung hip to ton up in the under18s champs, AIS, SA captain at the 18s champs, 2 years in the SANFL, played in an SANFL premiership...the kid is a gun and just needs a good chance to prove it. Injury interrupted first year and wasn't given the best chance to improve. He will get there stop trolling and making shower calls like that!

Not trolling at all FARK, simply stating that I haven't been much of a fan to date. Not saying I never will be either, I hope he does well in 2014, we definitely didn't see enough of him in 2013.

Because you are talking smack and it frustrates me. Its trolling. You are just talking for the sake of talking and its not truthful at all. You could not not be a fan of Toumpas before he was drafted. He was the ablett/judd of the junior scene. Thats like saying oh yeah im just not a fan of Ablett. Actually have some reasoning to your argument or dont talk at all!
